Drs. Rayek, Lee, Barekzi, and Jahangiri believe helping the community in any way is their duty.We would like to reach out to the community and ask for them to donate their old iPods. We will be downloading music from the 20′s, 30′s, and 40′s onto the donated iPods. They then will be donated to Alzheimer and Dementia patients.
There has been recent studies showing that people suffering from Alzheimers and Dementia may see improved menta function through the power of music. Music cna help to awaken, stimulate and improve congnitive functioning.
Anyone can donate new or used iPods during our business hours! We will be collecting iPods till July 31,2012

“Do A Good Deed Contest”
We believe that amny good deeds done each day are going unnoticed and unrewarded.
We want to change that!
We know that complimenting or rewarding a job well done can actually prompt more of those good activites. This contest is open to any youth 18 years and under. Simply do what the title says, “Do A Good Deed” and tell us in a short essay what you did, why you chose to do it and what happened as a result.

“Oakton Football 5K and Fun Run”
Smiles at Fairfax Corner is a proud sponsor of the Annual Oakton Football 5K and Fun Run. The proceeds of this race go toward purchasing a new athletics stadium scoreboard.
The 5K will be held on June10,2012. The race starts at 8:30am with Check in starting at 7am!
Runners and Walkers welcome! Whether you are looking for some family fun or a serious run, all are welcome!
Smiles at Fairfax Corner will be there to cheer on the runners with great Raffle prizes as well.
